1. Hey, I was wondering if you musicians/producers/sound engineers out there could help me. Does anyone know the name of the effect that plays at the end of Window in the Skies (4:02)? Is it just inversed distortion or is there something more to it?

    Thanks!

  2. There's a fade out on the piano note and then it fades in again until it cuts when the "volume" is full. No effect, nothing special.
  3. ow .. I would ha aswered:

''probably a fucked uo guitar sound that only Edge know abouts''

Is that all it is? A sustained chord? Huh. Well, that answers that. Thanks for the help!

I think it's more like a single key, not a whole chord.
    You are welcome.
  6. They just took that end part and played it back backwards....hear the cymbal fade in rather than out.
