2019-11-27 - Perth
Tour: Joshua Tree Tour 2019
Songs played: 26
Audio recordings: 1
  1. I wake up for Exit!
  2. The Edge (instead of Bono) singing the final "waaaalk tooo the seeeeaaa". Did you catch that @aTYCLB00?
  3. Bono thinking the casuals are going to pick up and carry him through the "healing, healing, healing" has been hilarious

The "beating, beating, beating" part was frankly good though, he brought some of the raspy, crude 1987 voice.

In the recent years Bono haven't put much energy and effort on the song, but on the 2015-07-02 - Chicago show he suddenly came in other thougts.
I don't know why he doesn't sing it like this more, he really sounds like he did on Lovetown.

Listen from 2:20:40 (when he starts to sing it like in the 80s) in the video below, the lines "The city's a flood
And our love turns to rust" just begin shortly after that time.

Besides the lyrical miss in the opening line of the song, this is one of the best version ever to me, the band plays it very well and Bono mix his 1989 voice with his current voice and it gives the song an energy I haven't seen since the 80s.

You wont regret listen to this performences
