  3. hey everyone. gonna see u2 for the first time and we've chosen seoul.

    we'll be at section Standing S. would've wanted a Standing R ticket to be closer to the stage but got confused in the rush to buy.

    anybody know where U2 will be staying in seoul? on the off chance that i can stand the cold and wait for them to come out. that or be at the venue for sound check...which exit will they use at gocheok?
  4. I'm in RZ for this show. A couple of questions -

    1) presuming I don't want a rail spot, is there any advantage to showing up at 1400 for a show that "starts" at 1900? I will of course show up early (foreign country, massive GA, etc etc) but 1400 seems overkill except for RZ rail

    2) In Singapore, show started around 8:20pm if I have it correct. Do we expect the same in Seoul? I can't imagine U2 would actually start a show in Seoul before 8pm unless the local authorities insist that they do for local ordinance reasons. Is it safest to assume a 1900 actual show start time given everything LN is posting?

    1) No there isn't any advance. If you don't want rail, and for instance just want to float around in Red Zone (which is very nice too!) then just show up at 6.

    2) Show will start earlier. Seoul and Japan (or at least I know of Japan) have shows that always start early, so assume 19:30 or so.

    Today I received an email about the procedure before entering the venue in Seoul. I am not very familiar with it, until now always had a ticket in advance. I have a standing R ticket with a very high number, above 8000. So standing in the queue to get a spot at the front makes no sence I think? I am 2 meter high so with all those short koreans around me should not be a big problem. Entry starts at 16.30. If I understand well you have to pick up your ticket before this entry time? And to enter the stadium itself? 'If you arrive later your than your entry time the entry number on your ticket will not be horored'. What do they mean with this? For me no big problem If I enter the stadium pa around 18 or 18.30 or even later. But can I still enter than?
    Sorry for the maybe a bit stupid questions but I want to be sure that nothing goes wrong offcourse.

    Best regards and maybe I will see some of you Sunday.
  7. Entrance in the GA area by ticket number. I have ticket number 156, so I'll be present at 14.00. With a number in the 8000 it's no use being that early. You'll still have a good spot to have a good view of the stage and plenty of space at the same time, because the S-standing ticket holders will be behind the bars set-up somewhere in the middle of the field.

    Thanks for info. So I can collect my ticket any time, even later than admission time 16.30? And enter the stadium when I like? I am one of the last probably in the R zone anyway. More time to explore a bit Seoul on Sunday if it is not to cold. Number 156. Nice. Enjoy the show..
  9. In Korea, most Sunday shows start at 18:00 so that attendees can go home using public transportation. Even if the show starts on time, it's already a little late start.
    I just hope they don't let us wait for more than half an hour. I can wait, but many others can't... Don't set a record for foreign-top-star-being-late, please!

    Can’t wait for this Sunday. It’ll be interesting to see if the GA system works the way they say it should.

    I’m confident they’ll start on time. Every other gig I’ve seen in Korea has started right on schedule.

    I think Axl Rose’s Guns n Roses set the record of several hours late a few years ago. Can’t see Bono and Bhoys beating that^^
