4 ) Announcing they are hanging up the boots
    5 ) Announcing a brand new Album
6 ) Announcing the JT live DVD

It can’t be anything outside of those scenarios. And I fear it’s going to be either 3 or 4
It seems like a random time to announce 3 or 4 in the middle of a tour, some I'm leaning towards something else.
  2. It is subscription renewal season so I say that it is going to be an announcement of an Achtung Baby tour. The X represents Adam's......
    ...... Nevermind.

Plenty of summer tours have been announced in the last few weeks including a few stadium ones.
  3. The announcement is that Larry burned his tongue on Wasabi.
  4. exactly. I think the tour DVD announcement seems a very reasonable possibility. Anton Corbijn is in town, he's rumoured to have been making a U2 doc but has been denying everything. who knows...

A compilation DVd and a documentary might be wishful thinking.
  5. maybe it's the announcement of SOA at the end of the tour
  6. Possibly number 6, but E & I is due out - they seem to be a bit all over the place with their marketing/release/tour schedule over the past few years.
  7. My hopes are that theyll announce they're going to broadcast the second show and give it a full released on CD and Vinyl. Too much wishful thinking?
  8. It did seem like a long time that they were at Electric Ladyland making Ahisma.
  9. I think they had enough to be on tour for more than 4 years, most likely it is SOA or ... their retirement (X)
  10. Yup, Anton in town.
  11. My theory:

"We've had a lot of fun over the last few months, just getting to know some of the music which we didn't know so much about -- and still don't know very much about, but it was fun! (Pause) Anyway, thanks for coming along. It wouldn't have been the same without you. (Applause) Some people have traveled a long way to come here tonight. (Applause) This -- I was explaining to people the other night, but I might've got it a bit wrong -- this is just the end of something for U2. And that's what we're playing these concerts -- and we're throwing a party for ourselves and you. It's no big deal, it's just -- we have to go away and...and dream it all up again."
  12. They're going to play Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) to commemorate the recording of the video during the original JT tour.
