  3. I can see that happening. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of a pivotal moment in their career by giving fan club members a quality recording of a Lovetown show makes a lot of sense to me.
  4. Probably something as lame as a Vinyl copy of the just released remixes.

    Come on - we do know them. They never really put any serious effort in their gifts to gift us something a paid fanclub should exist for: something rare and special, which would make longtime fans really happy.
    I'm a member for only ten years now and to be honest - I only kept the From The Ground Up (so I don't need to buy a copy myself, I can read english) and North Side books. Haven't read neither yet.

    The only gift coming close to what fans keep asking for is the Marquee Vinyl. But not interesting to me. I really do not like their live releases. They are all too polished, edited and not authentic (plus - I'm not sooo much into old shows).

    I highly doubt we will ever get something really brave or surprising like a NEVER RELEASED pro shot show or (recent or really anticipated) live recording with good artwork, good cutting/editing and without polishing it far from reality.

    What did we get so far?
    Live Audios of DVDs we already ripped ourselves to listen to, compilations of thrown together tracks that have been widely released before, smelly posters, Remix vinyls.....well. And this year some surely also very polished live tracks (no, I DID NOT LISTEN to them, not interested, thanks) and a totally overartsy "photobook" that is absolutely no joy to look at. (That book was the reason I kept both accounts alive, I hoped for a REAL and nice PHOTO book....)

    My accounts already have once been extended until Jan 31 a few years ago - let's see what they'll accounce and if I renew one, both or none.

    The Slane audio is incredible. Especially Streets and OOC.
