Lovely subtle guitar work at the start intermingled with the harshness & full on sound later in the song.. really nice listening in high quality audio to this..

Thank you for this ! Been waiting a LONG time for it, and god damn it didn't disappoint. This is honestly some of the BEST U2 we've had since the 90's. I loooove the guitar, bass and singing in this, but that powerful drumming in full display with this quality might be the best thing about this song... Thank you !
  3. That panning shot at 6:07 of the whole band is just perfect. Most of it is perfectly filmed. I feared it would again be mostly Bono close-ups... Instead we have mostly full band shots
  4. thanks Bonoman
  5. That’s one thing I’m noticing more and more with the dvd releases. More shots of Adam. It was always Bono, The Edge and sometimes Larry. Hardly ever Adam.

Dublin 4 was in my opinion the best performance of the tour. Berlin was also an excellent show, but I felt that the Bono was holding back a bit. You could sense the added tension due to the filming.

I think we can all agree that Berlin was a very decent show, but it's always hard to compare with other shows.. basically, it's always the same show.. sometimes the magic is missing a bit, but I don't think that was the case in Berlin..

Best front row crowd? that's also a very debatable thing... I don't like that stupid jumping, holding the rail.. I like people jumping in the back (or basically everywhere), just out of pure joy.. not that stupid automatic pilot jumping... seems like it was both there in Berlin.

All experiences are subjective anyway What might be the best show of their lives for one might be the worst for another. It's never perfect, but I don't think many can complain about Berlin as a choice.

    well said
  10. I would have preferred "U2 Live in Dublin" as opposed to Berlin as it's their hometown it would appeal to more people to see them perform for their own crowd ,the only logical explanation is their wasn't seats behind the stage so the viewers wouldn't be seeing the show in it's fully formed concept .

It was different setting (not a typical arena, no 360 seats, e-stage in the middle of the screen, etc...) so that would be the case...
And it was said before that it will be Berlin...
