  4. They haven’t said it’s exclusive to subscribers just that it’s limited edition but that doesn’t mean they can’t release a slightly different packaged edition commercially. It’s what will make or break it for me as a good gift or not.

    I assume you'll have to buy the blu-ray separately. The DVD is the cheapest version to make so that's what the fan club gets as a gift!

    It will be awful quality, remember Paris 2015's DVD? The downscaling was terrible.

    Who uses DVD anyway...

  7. I am not paying for a DVD. I haven't bought one in well over 5 years and I have intention of doing so just for this. It will be available online within days of release anyway. Not that I will watch a 480p video. But I will listen to the audio.
  8. It’s actually quite clever for u2 to release the show as a ‘gift’. This way They make more money than as a regular release.

    Didn’t buy the last dvd’s Or blu Rays. Probably no shows this year... but if They release the audio files i’ll resubscribe (just to hear Wild horses soundboard.

    But there it will a joke with the subscribers. Their won't be having shows this year, so it's not worth stopping $ 50 on a DVD. Being that they will sell in fullHD to the general public. I think, and I want to be mistaken, but I think it will be just that to subscribers and nothing else.
  10. I just went ahead and resubscribed, didn't even dawn on me it wasn't bluray. I'll definitely have to pick that up too. However, as far as gifts go this is up there.

    The bluray/4k version will be released to the public and some months later the fan club people will still be waiting for their DVD copy....
