  3. Am I in the minority thinking of the last 3 tours I&E (2015), JT (2017&2019) and E&I (2018) that this one was ranked third?

    I&E definitely had better set lists / rotation and from my experience of seeing it in Dublin the crowd reaction was one of the best I experienced. JT was definitely the greatest hits but again the crowds loved it. I saw E&I in Dublin in 2018 and apart from the 1st half the crowd reaction barometer was lower than the other two tours. The newer material just didn’t seem to engage the crowd and the lack of older hits did impact.

    This video is beautifully shot and with all U2 shows there are with pockets of greatness (AB set and Acrobat). Possibly a tour too many.

  6. Is there someone who compared the second part of the show with the broadcast we saw earlier.

    Are there any differences in camera angles or is it exactly identical?

    (I saw some differences in the beginning of elevation but thats it)
  7. Have the say one of the best filmed concerts of U2. Makes me sad that it took them so long to work out this set list as I caught two shows on the North American leg with the rehash of the i+e songs.

    EI felt anti climatic. We had all been saturated by U2 at that point.

  12. yeah, maybe the timing wasn't exaclty right and they never got the right vibe in the first part of the tour. With a couple of changes it all sounded more fresh and they sort of got around that saturation point. And with capturing it at the right moment we just got ourselves a great new U2 video.
    Still Amsterdam 1 is at the very bottom of my list of favourite U2 shows, with Ams 2 and Berlin 3 somewhere in the middle.. maybe this show just works a bit better on tv?
