    Yep...in the west...70-100 people injured

  4. Hilary Clinton comes across to me, as a relative neutral, as a bit of a prat. Then again, I think this about most politicians...all talk, no substance. At least Obama has come across in my view as a genuine kinda bloke who acknowledges his faults and has a bit of humility...

I have had enough of world politics, and I'm not even 20 lol...

  5. They're saying this bit with Obama's pastor has already hurt him. Interesting to see what happens in North Carolina's primary.

A video of Obama's former pastor was released a few weeks back, and he was saying stuff like "Not God bless America, God damn America" and how he didn't trust government, etc. during his sermon. He stayed off the radar for a few weeks, but now has been giving interviews and not backing off his stance on stuff, saying that America is racist because it doesn't understand the black church, that the US government is responsible for the HIV virus, weird stuff like that. Obama has condemned the stuff his former pastor is sayinig, but it's still hurting him in the polls.

Each state has a primary, that only counts the votes from that particular state. Primaries are spread out over several months (i think the first ones were back in February?). When a candidate wins a particular state, they get delegate votes from that state. You need a certain amount of delegate votes to formally win the nomination from the party, so Obama and Clinton are battling it out for delegates still. McCain already got the amount needed on the Republican side, so he'll be the Republican candidate. Make sense?
