1. Got mine Monday in NY
  2. Does anybody know if the 1080p subscriber stream is in blu ray compatible format?
I would like to put it on disc together with the berlin dvd stereo audio.
  3. Mine finally started moving after 8 days. So there is hope for those of us with tracking that wasn’t updating.
  4. Tracking is also updated, at this moment package @ local postoffice.
    Probably tomorrow in my hands
  5. Is anyone actually watching the DVD or are you sticking with the stream?
  6. Mine arrived yesterday in Minnesota.
  7. I’ve watched the dvd a couple times
  8. I put the DVD on for a minute when I was ripping the audio and when compared to the stream it is decidedly inferior so I will stick with my saved copy of the 4K stream thank you very much.

The streamed version is the definitive version in my opinion unless they decide to either stream it on Netflix or something with a higher bit rate or put it out on 4K Bluray which they claim they won't.

In my opinion the only reason to watch the DVD is if you don't have a good TV or the ability to watch the 4K streamed version.

Same with the ZooTV stream. The video quality of the stream blows away the DVD and made the DVD irrelevant for me personally. I wish they would release a box set of all their old DVDs remastered on bluray. Vertigo deserves a HD release. I haven't been able to watch the full show on DVD since it was put out due to it being incorrectly mastered so it was either window-boxed or I had to zoom which makes it look like crap on a big screen. At one point I think it was aired (I cant remember if it was full show or edited on an HD music channel back in the day and I had a nice 1080p rip which looked much better than the DVD but I lost it due to hard drive failure).

    Maybe some day...

Wasn’t the Boston 2001 show aired? I seem to remember that, but shoot, that was 19 years ago

I too would love the other dvds to be released on Blu-ray, I would love the red rocks show on Blu-ray
  10. I know Streets was aired during a NBA game (which the reference was edited out of the dvd poorly). It probably aired on Palladia or something but I also can't recall specifically. Even though the dvd is in 4:3 ratio, the quality of the visuals still look ok even on my big screen. Prob due to the lighting which was superior to the Vertigo show, darkness and blacks are killer for 480p sources on a nice tv. I was actually at those Boston shows and am in the dvd a few times if you squint, haha!

    I agree about Red Rocks.

What are you using to rip the audio?
