    In NL there is growing unrest against the measures that are still in place while all the numbers keep getting lower. We're 1/10th of the healthcare pressure that we had early April.

    I agree with the moral bankruptcy part. I remember in 1995 when I was 13 thinking to myself, “I am going to be the future” I remember how scary it would be. I had a mom and dad that stayed together and was an only child. I grew up in the “rave” scene and actually turned to ecstasy use and weed use. I DJed for a number of years from 1998-2005. As time goes on the older generations die off leaving the younger generations to be the old generation. It’s crazy for me to think about this but I graduated high school in 2000...... those children who were born in 2000 are now 20 years old, I am 38! I have five children of my own now. Growing up with a mom and dad who stayed together and didn’t divorce was a very strong moral compass for me. Back when I was a child I barely knew anyone who’s parents stayed together. This day and age people date, some get married but it’s very rare now, and if they get married I’m sure I can look up the statistics but they are probably very dismal. The family unit has been attacked since the 1960s and the moral fabric of the society we live in today shows. I saw a video of the 1960s watts riots in LA and it had an older gentlemen, about 50 years old, who was in the streets, black gentleman, who said “why are you all doing this to our neighborhoods and businesses..... I grew up in the ghetto too, I had a hard upbringing also but you have to move on and hold your head up high and push through and forgive those that want to bring you harm and keep you down.” A lot of the 50 year olds today are on the news outlets and social media just coaxing this along and making people more angry. Where has the wisdom that this gentlemen from the 1960s riots gone???? The moral compass is indeed bankrupt!!! We are not “moving forward” as people from the left would say but merely we are moving further and further from God’s biblical design for this earth and how humans should obey. I may have my idea of what is right or wrong, you may have your idea of what is right or wrong..... the Bible doesn’t change. I believe in The Bible, in its entirely, with my whole heart by faith. My faith is real because I can pinpoint the day The Lord changed me and brought me into relationship with Himself. Nothing that I did, but only God. Times change, people change but God and his Word never change. This is where I get my morality from. That being said let’s talk about abortion and the fact that Obamacare mandates taxpayers money have to fund Planned Parenthood which provides abortions to thousands and thousands of Moms. It’s not a matter of me not wanting to give people healthcare who need healthcare. Let’s help people who are in need, AMEN. But let’s not tell people what there tax dollars have to pay! Especially if that goes against your morals. [REMOVED BY MODERATOR DUE TO OFFENSIVE CONTENT]. People on this site are worried about the Coronavirus. Want medical help for people who are extremely poor? I do too!! I’m not voting for a president who wants to side with MANY values that go AGAINST the Judeo Christian values that this great Country was founded on and that I hold dear. Coronavirus is entirely about control and bringing communism to the WORLD. Take a picture you will see this through. People need to WAKE UP.

    Is Trump an asshole? Yes of course he is, if you had everyone on the entire planet bitching at you what would you personally do? My crying ass would probably shrink back and shut the F up and go back into hiding asking myself “what’s the point, the generations are too far gone for anyone to help.“ Where are the Fathers? Where are the parents?” I thank God that we religious people have a Presdient that sticks up for the family and religious freedoms and fights back against the immoral society of the day. #MYPRESIDENT without Trump acting like an asshole the MSM would walk all over him, like they did Mitt Romney.

    And please, Trump a womanizer....? I heard someone say that the other day. Just listen to any rap CD back in the 90s and 2000s and read the lyrics and then check these hypocritical “artists” who call Trump out but somehow forgot about their own lyrics... Fakes.

    First, your rant about abortion is way off topic because it has nothing to do with the corona (type) virus Covid-19. U2Start is not the place to discuss this particular matter any further. Period. (And, yeah, bringing this up again will surely get your account suspended!)

    But I did highlight this opinion that Coronavirus is about "bringing communism to the world." You may think this, of course, but communism is not the same as solidarity. The first is a political ideology, but the second - solidarity - is a human quality of empathy that allows people to help each other. And it is in fact a very successful strategy to beat Covid-19.

    Yes, the coronavirus "asks" us to suspend some of our liberties and our freedom. Like avoiding crowds and keeping some physical distance between each other. Or wear masks in places where that physical distance is harder to maintain. And we do this to protect the weak - those whom will get very sick by the virus. In fact we may be the weak ones ourselves, but we only know once our immune systems have to battle the virus. By far most people will survive without medical attention, but as this virus is so wide spread, even a small percentage is a big number when it comes to demand for hospital beds.

    The "communist" countries lock people up in their houses, or even entire cities. But in the more democratic countries (as in countries with a more or less functioning democracy) the large majority of the population understands this demand for solidarity. They act not because they are forced to, but because they understand it is the right thing to do. Because they care for each other. Because that is what societies (where people live together!) do.

    You can't beat the virus by blaming someone else. We can only beat it when we work together. And we just will.
