  9. he played there for 15 years, with huge success, he can walk away for free, no problem. They got him for free as well. In the end not a bad deal. I think what it says is; no one can buy Messi, but still he's free to go. Anyway, a player like Messi decides what's in his contract, not the club. He could have signed 1 year deal's every year which would have give him the opportunity to leave at the end of every year. I think it's a bit short-sighted to say someone mess(i)ed up. Of course now they still try to get some money out of it which would be very welcome to built a new team.

    This clause that allows him to leave for free expired in June though , the original close season . But because of coronavirus the season got extended so messi is saying that clause extended . Work that one out in court
  11. I think a compromise will be reached. He’s not leaving for free but they’re getting nowhere near £700million. If someone offers £250million they’ll take it, maybe even a good bit less. Otherwise they’ve just lost £250million for the sake of 1 season as he’ll be able to leave for free at the end of next season. In fact they probably will get a lot less. They’d essentially be loaning him for a year at whatever offer they rejected because they’ll get nothing for him at the end of the season.

    seems like City is preparing a 200 million euro offer. Well, maybe this is the best time to make the deal.
