1. Heard it for the first time in years the other day in the car and now I can't get it out of my head!
  2. I think this whole album is up there with their best (I personally place The Holy Bible in first place, then This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours as second then Lifeblood hot on the trails)

  3. Manic Street Preachers - Of Walking Abortion

That's done it! This album is dug out.
This was my sons first ever live gig in Cardiff. He was just 9 years old.
    Baptism of fire here!
    He loved it all.

Yeah The Holy Bible is my favourite too. Also like Journal for Plague Lovers, and Send Away the Tigers. Manics was my last gig last year...little did I know that this year would be a washout!

That's an intense album for a 10 year old!!!

As part of my work within the NHS (Art therapist) we were lucky to get free tickets to the gigs they have planned in Cardiff in December as a thank you to NHS frontline key workers.

    These chaps really are something.
  6. Ah yeah, I heard about those gigs, that's awesome!
  7. I hope they do go ahead amongst all sorts of restrictions.
And if they get postponed that band will honour that commitment.
A fantastic generosity to put these shows on for us.

  8. One thing I noticed last year when I saw them was that they have become like the Stones...there were about 3 or 4 more musicians on stage playing along at the same time!

Oh yes! He had a real baptism of fire with this one. What a first ever gig to attend though. And it was fully televised too and the cameras picked him out which he was delighted with.
    He was right into it.

I think this is the most intense album I possibly own for content. Not even Crass come close to this one!

This album stands head and shoulders above other bands who think they have produced intensity. They fade in comparison to this hefty tome of work.

What a legacy though. Just reading those lyrics was a strong indicator to how ill Richey Edwards was.

Ah yes! I too have noticed this as well.
They have had this for quite a while.

I've got a copy of the video on a hard drive...I'll look out for him!
