Originally posted by zooeySo how was your weekend? Mine went by all too fast. I did spend some quality time with my boy (4 years old) though, which is cool.
Glad you got to spend some quality time with your son. What did you do together?
Originally posted by zooeyshopped (haha). I bought him a pair of Airwalk shoes! and we played soccer, and drew with chalk in the driveway. Then he helped me wash my car. Stuff like that. Makes me think I'm in a Norman Rockwell painting but I live for it!! Usually he's all about Daddy so it's nice when I'm 'let in'.
I tried Rock Band once and it was sheer embarassment. I don't like doing things I'm not good at in front of other people.![]()
And yes, it was a little embarrassing to play Rock Band and not being particularly good at it. I've played a bit of Guitar Hero 3, so I could get the guitar part, no problem. But the singing was a bit more intimidating. Originally posted by zooeyOh, funny story. I got called a Satan Worshipper today at the mall.
Why!?
Originally posted by zooeyNo, not in front of the boy, although we have a pretty open dialogue about religion so it might have been 'interesting'. But anyway, I was walking in front of a very VERY conservative looking family - females were in long skirts and long sleeves, males wore shirts tucked in, etc.
Daughter: whisper, whisper, whisper
Mom: I know, I saw
Son: blah blah tattoo blah blah satan worshipper
Daughter: That's NOT what it means.
Isn't that crazy! It was all I could do not to turn around and hiss at them just to freak 'em out!!
I'm guessing you're about my age, maybe a little younger (32???). Originally posted by zooeyNice He-man reference!I'm guessing you're about my age, maybe a little younger (32???).
