    Thanks for the nice words. I've actually been gathering all the information from the Atomic Gear sites into ONE BIG OL' "U2 Stage and Studio" site. I still have to move items over and update some information...

    SO your GAS (Gear Aquisition Syndrome) is not MY fault? Tell Fernandes they owe me a commission.

    Andres Jaramillo from Fernandes (Artist Rep) is a cool guy. He can have them make you a Fernandes to make you one, like Edge's, in black (not a stock colour) for a mere $1000 !!!!

    I wanted to follow on, but thing is I know fuck all about the technicalities behind effects other than terms like "delay", "gain" and "compression"

    Ok, slight exaggeration but to be honest, I just piss around on my little Zoom effects pedal until I come across something I like the sound of, or that sounds fairly similar to what I think Edge has it!

  7. oh and seriously harry...on streets...try the double delay effect. If you have two delay units...it was the last piece in my puzzle to find the perfect sound for that song.

    I tried to couple up my bro's effects box to mine and do the double delay thing, but it didn't work ...but I remember reading a couple of studies into Edge's sound and there were all these ridiculous diagrams with 2 units and amps etc., and I just thought "I haven't got a chance"!....
