  1. I just hate it when people say to me: "Oh, you like U2? They made Vertigo."

    And think that's the only song they've ever made.

    And then I show them that I have 600+ U2 songs on my iPod.

    And then they run away.

    And then I listen to The Fly and am happy.

  3. people who make these claims are more than likely, and in most cases are, completely ignorant of U2 and base their judgments from constantly seeing Bono in the news, which does rub some people the wrong way, but seriously, people who make claims like this have obviously not done their homework!
  4. Exactly, but that's what really angers me, they think they know more than us about Bono and U2, and can thus make completely idiotic comments...

    One person said to me, that U2 steal lyrics from coldplay (which in fact is the other way round - or should I say borrow?)
  5. Had a simillar situation at school...a girl from my class said: "U2's music is a piece of shit. One can't even dance on it." Luckily for her I didn't have any knife with me...
  6. Another thing, because Bono sometimes says the lyric in One "Did you come here to play jesus, I did" a lot of people actually think he is very serious.

    They're not Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo or Rihanna who make dancemusic because they can't sing/play guitar/play bass/drum. That's even worse...
    And besides: U2 used dance influences in the 90's...

    and round here everyone knows Bono.his house is 15 mins away.
