That is a GREAT book. I read that two summers ago--it was the first book on U2 I read. Fantastic!
  4. Well now that I've actually got a job I can start collecting lots of U2 stuff!!! So I'll go for a few weeks, and list back here. Who knows, I might have more than SIRBONO.

For anyone in Australia, where's a good place to get vinyls cheap?

its a good book, have it in English and Dutch. i must read him trough tough
    hope you enjoy it
  6. Could've bagged myself Boy and Under A Blood Red Sky on 12 " vinyl today, both £5 but had no money at the time. Have to wait until next Thursday for the music man to return

He also had New Year's Day 7" vinyl a few months back but I was stupid enough not to buy it

I did however manage to get Joshua Tree and Rattle & Hum on 12" vinyls though around Christmas from him, so all's not bad.

The triple crown of U2 books all fans MUST have are U2 by U2, U2 At The End Of The World and Anton's U2 & I.

Sure there are some other good books... Pimm's "A Concert Documentary" is cool... and the one with "the stories behind every song... (can't remember the title of the top o' my head right now...)

Any who... of the many u2 book... the first three I mentioned are great and are required reading.

    Haven't read U2 & I yet--will definitely get that one next.
The Niall Stokes book is "Into the Heart--The Stories Behind Every Song." I've got the one that goes up to ATYCLB. I think that was the first U2 book I owned; "At the End of the World" was the first one I read, after a friend lent it to me. Great reads all around.
  9. Okay, I've got everything framed from my new (and growing!) collection.

    In the photo below:
Zoo TV: Wembley nights, Cardiff, & Leeds (Aug. 11-21)
    Popmart: Paris & Montpellier (Sept 6, 15)
    The Unforgettable Fire Tour: Adelaide(Sept. 20, 21)
    Vertigo: Saitama (Nov. 29 & 30, Dec. 4)

Also, the full-sized Joshua Tree Cologne show (June 17)

  10. I like the frames but I can't find anywhere that sells them local in the size that I need.

For the lithos? What size do you need?
  12. In a few weeks i'm gonna get a really cool thing from a friend of our family. She was at the Joshua Tree Tour show here in Gothenburg 1987 and recently found her old concert t-shirt. That's easily gonna be my coolest collectible .
