    Id lend them Achtung Baby cos its got everything from edges guitar sounds on The Fly and Until The End of The World to the simply beautiful One.

    I agree. Achtung Baby might be a bit much to take in at first listen. I'd probably go the two Best Ofs, then JT, then AB, then War, then HTDAAB.
  9. The joshua tree all the way , he will listen to the intro of the streets them the lyrics of streets , then to still havent found , then the beautiful with or without you , he will fell in love with U2 immediatly
  10. Maybe instead of a CD, you could lend your freind a DVD . (Or both)
  11. If it were me, I wouldnt want to hear 40+ tracks at first. Maybe 10-20, to start me off.

  12. I think Achtung Baby is a good starting point and if that catches them tell them to move backwards and forwards from there....oddly enough Rattle and Hum was the first album of theirs I got
