Yeah, Bono does rattle on about a lot of shit, but I'd rather he was honest about his intentions and as far as I see it, his heart's in the right place and that's what I care about he doesn't shirk from anything as far as I can tell, he's always on the move - I think the ones to feel sorry for are the rest of the band lol! Same talks, different gig lol...but at the end of the day, he's the Bono I've grown up with and his activism has always been a part of him. And to be fair, he always makes a valid point - situations like Africa etc. really aren't acceptable in the modern world in which we live, and he's using his status to try and amend that. No, he's not a saint and he's not perfect, but I'd rather listen to his bull than any damned politician or nationalist prick...

    I'm not sure...I considered Dan to be the "oldy" ( to Dan!!), and he's 30...

    Well, you've got one over most of us in that you've actually LIVED through most, if not ALL of the band's career! Age is of no great concern here we're just united by our love for a great band, if not THE great band...

    but he fronts one of the best rock bands of all time, so it cancels it out somewhat
  9. bono is bono when he's serious about a serious subject and for all good reasons he does it, where we can't make a difference to the subject, he's being a preacher sometimes but hey, he can do it... let him...
    i don't care if he say a few story's in a show.
    Its just bono over obsessed with the good cause.. not that bad for an world known famous rocker...
    he could do the sex drugs an rock and roll thing ... but instead he's doing the opposite

    bono is a great man and Preacher
    i like him for what he does... and a preaching in a show doesn't bother me
