On Flew Over The Coocook's Nest, also with Jack Nickelson. Great actor indeed; one of my favorites, next to e.g. Tom Hanks. Great movie, to.
  2. just saw : The assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford ....what's in the title

it was along shot... 3 hours and not much action ... not much dialog... lots of deep shots...a little boring..
liked Brad Pitt in his role as Jesse James...the hero from Lucky Luke(the comic strips )comes alive for me

wished there was a little more action in it

  4. Inside Man - my god I swear I can't remember seeing a weirder film for a very long time lol...

On a side note, finally watched Mad Max for the first time ever - and thought it was a load of bollocks...

I didn't see the Mad Max movies until a couple of years ago, and didn't care for them either. I find that to happen a lot. When I see a movie late after hearing so much about it, I am usually disappointed.

Yeah, I mean it was nothing like I had been expecting - I was expecting like desolate nuclear ridden landscapes and hordes of marauding nutjobs in kilts or something (why kilts, I don't know...) and Mad Max to be a bit of a Rambo or something, judging from the blurb on the back and what I'd heard about it prior to seeing it.

Compare that to another film I saw properly for the first time recently, that being Starship Troopers, that too wasn't what I expected but in a good way - I've never watched a more satirical yet gory sci-fi film! I loved it!
  7. Star Wars IV - great movie great storyline , what Can i say about a historical classic.
  8. Watching Forrest Gump right now

    Great movie
    (I'm a Tom Hanks fan...)
  10. The Painted Veil. Really good drama about a failed-then-improved romance between two Brits in 1920s Shanghai amidst the cholera epidemic.
  11. Oceans Twelve - not as good as the first one .... But absolutly ok
  12. Indiana Jones 4: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I liked it and enjoyed it! A bit over the top at the end, but in the same line as the classics of the eighties. Great end to this historical character.
