1. I want one
  2. OMG! What I would do for one of those!
  3. Well this is a bummer.

    The Edge:

  4. I'm not expecting down all the days or Alex descends into hell (although that's still one of the best things they've ever written / done), they aren't Bruce, fair enough. But there are still a lot of singles that get ignored and plenty of other songs that aren't extraordinary b sides that they could justify playing (crystal ballroom? Lucifers hands? Especially Lucifers hands they've basically already played it live anyway).

Plus, what a load of shit this leaving anyone behind part is, people have more chance of knowing angels too tied to the ground or any other b side they released back when people used to listen to singles and buy them, than they do of anyone other than the sad one percent of us hardcore fans who knew every word to mercy the first time they ever played it.. Or knowing the words to North star. Whatever.
  5. Maybe I'm one of the few who isn't super bothered by that comment. I've said before, when I see U2 I want to hear the big war horses, and I want whoever I bring to have that experience as well. It's part of seeing a "U2 show" if you know what I mean.

On top of that, and this may be a controversial thing to say, but U2's b-sides for the most part sound like..b-sides. They weren't good enough to make the final album. I can probably count on one hand the b-sides that I'm waiting to hear live.
  6. I'm not saying the whole show has to be b sides and rarities. Even just one wild card slot as a nod to people who've been there through the years and knows their back catalogue well wouldn't go astray. Love rescue me once or twice a tour doesn't cut it for me
  7. Nothing wrong with not playing B-sides, which U2 b-side is really good enough? Lady With The Spinning Head and some songs from JT.

But playing songs on albums that are rare and haven't been getting much/any attention is something else, that is what I'm hoping for.
  8. i would like to hear new years day with edge doing a popmart style keyboard delay
