I still have a vivid memory of the JT tour version at 16 years old and the energy of those versions has never been bettered. Lovetown and Zoo TV (indoor) still had power and that was reflected in the audience reactions, but Bono can't hit those notes anymore, which degrades the majesty of the song for me.

Worth pointing out that I attended 360 at the first wembley show, which was great, but by the end of the first "Streets" verse many people around me were just talking amongst themselves.

    It sounded flat and dated.
  2. The audiences have also changed. People have severe attention disorders now with all the gadgets, even at concerts. It seems that they are more interested in taking selfies, videos, etc. during shows that enjoying it. It's not the band's fault, at least not entirely.
  3. Even Better Than The Real Desire Sounds exciting and promising!
  4. I'm a bit puzzled these fans could see the screen through the curtains? sounds questionable...
  5. Maybe it's all a massive Vancouverite joke.
  6. This doesn't compare with the 360 prep. Those photos of the claw then rehearsals of Ultraviolet.

I've been to the one or the other 360 show as well, to me it never dis-worked this way. But hey. just different experiences, different opinions, you and me, and that is totally okay
  9. That article has me so pumped, and it's May now too. 14 days to go!!!

  10. You took the words out of my mouth. They will be ready!!
  11. me? im not excited about adding a string section to the band. jumping the shark!

I think the idea of alternate shows is what prompted many fans to buy so many tickets to multiple nights/cities... so i think changing their minds on this now is a bit of a bait and switch.

I AM excited by all the spoilers of songs rehearsed... too many to choose. Please dont make it a greatest hits set. Then end of the 360 tour got pretty good with the old and new blend, and the variations every night.
