  2. I've enjoyed all of my Bruce gigs in Belfast but it's a different vibe than Dublin or Galway or Cork or Limerick. Geographically it's the same country but emotionally it's a different country. I hope they play both countries and I will go to both if I can
  3. I wouldn't overly rate a Belfast crowd but it's been a long time since U2 have been here so who knows. Though I didn't think much of the crowds at the Dublin 360 shows either.
  4. Also I think if they play Belfast and not Dublin they may as well move out altogether !! At the end of the day people want to see U2 not a bloody big screen !!

    I spent my 3rd Dublin 360 show in the pit with a group of lads from Brazil. One of them pissed himself during the gig so wasn't very pleasant either

  10. It sucks that U2 are so despised in Ireland. Maybe that's why Bono's become an American now.

  12. Nobody cares about the fact that Bono has influenced world leaders to save or greatly improve the lives of thousands of less fortunate leaders. All they see is a rich band (U2 Ltd) who pay their taxes in Holland instead of Ireland. The fact that they live in Ireland and pay VAT, road tax, property tax and employ a shit load of people here doesn't seem to matter.
