+ there are some failures... one of the Village People was insert in the voting only 7 hours later..
there are people with more than a link.. I mean.. they will count all votes for Amp from each link? or only one will be valid?

of course I'm supporting my friends on this voting thing, but I don't think it's fair...
I'd say this was pretty screwed up Stilll one of my favourite moments of the tour. So awkward!

  2. It's far from perfect, I agree more than you know...

But a) I did not have the lossless (so why spend too much time?)
and b) we wanted to bring it up asap... the proper job can be done later (preferably someone with better skills than me...and even more preferably, with a better iem source....)

  3. Indeed!
    the poor guy was excited
I think he would do a good job on a second chance.

another thing is that there will be no spontaneity..
we already know it's all pre-arranged.
  4. ^ "That's what most of us think" #part2
  5. ops
I've been a bit away lately
but good to know that most of you agree with that.

And no, this is rather "post-production" than "remaster" (info file only says "edit" and u2start database doesn't know "post-production). Basically cutting out all sorts of interference/distortions...
Disagree strongly, but I have feeling we should pick this discussion up in another thread, as opposed to the Paris show thread. I'm sure these threads aren't started with the intention of arguing mp3 transcoding minutia!

You're quite right there (and for the record, I disagree too - but Joyce and I have agreed to disagree). We can carry on with this discussion on the The point of lossless recordings thread, for example.

  8. Ok. I'm late to the game here. Seeing as how my entire show was spent buffering yesterday, what was it that I missed? It looks like it was a complete show. What did they do (or cut)?

    second slot, I think

  11. If Ole Hammy were mixing the new album, the sound levels would go up and down every half second to mirror his amazing 900 camera shots per half second. To this day, still shocked so many concert DVDs are ruined by shaky awful camera changes.
