1. Yeah if they're having a band they're surely staying open late
  2. Arrive 22nd Sunday leave tuesday 24th

You did. Here's the poster for the events if anyone is interested.

Pre-show events with a DJ run Mon 23rd - Sunday 29th (16:00-18:00) but the U2-themed bar will be open throughout the day. Post-show events with the tribute band are just on the Thu, Fri and Sat. I would imagine that most places will be open late in Dublin anyway after Dublin 3&4 with it being a weekend. Google Maps says that this place is a 35 minute walk from the 3 Arena.

I'm sure Joe will also chime in with plenty of local knowledge as the time nears.
  4. MacTurcaill's pub is shut down as Joe informed me some weeks ago. That's the worst Dublin news I could possibly hear after the Windmill Lane's knockdown. I guess Captain's America with its 3'50€ pints for students will do the trick - already got pissed there with my girl twice or thrice so it should be fun

The Church theme party shall happen at some point too, maybe meeting there with Aidan and Kirsten, let's see how it works out. It's a shame that TJT are performing only from Thursday on tho, already missed them on St Patrick's Day (I was seeing MUSE in Belfast though, it's a good enough excuse!).
  5. I'll be there from November 21 to 29. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Me neither! Besides that, us Brazilians can put a party through the whole night, so 21:00 is not a problem at all.

Just tell me where and when, and I'll meet you there my friend

Also looking forward to read some tips and advice about the city...if anyone can help me, I'd be very thankful
  8. The Joshua Tree will also do an acoustic set before the Monday & Tuesday-concerts at Lagoona Bar:
  9. Updated the opening post with all dates. Sorted by arrival.
  10. Just want to let people know that if they've any questions about Dublin and its goings on with public transport or general stuff to give me a message on this or if you've my WhatsApp and I'll get back to you ASAP. Most of it is straight forward enough and easily sourced on the internet, but I'm around and happy to help if you've any queries!

The Church is a deadly spot, would be a fair walk from 3Arena but probably one of the nicer places on the Northside. Lagoona Bar I've never been to, but the IFSC is on the way to the 3Arena from the City Centre so for people with seats it would be a nice spot to get a few pre-gig drinks in and get used to the atmosphere!
  11. I've been to the Lagoona for pre-Bruce drinks in 2005 & 2006 and it was grand. I would suggest there before the gigs and The Church (by Luas, not walking !!) after the gigs
