1. The DJ spoke all over it.
  2. Preview!!
  3. I thought some of the camera angles were different.
  4. Yep it must be, as also the Europe version for TV did not contain night 3 footage as far as I remember.
  5. Damn, looking really good.

Also lmao at Edge staring giving the camera a "what?" look here.

So a mix of both nights this is.
Yep, and Bono wasn't looking at Larry during the "I was on the inside when they pulled the four walls down" part, on night 4.
  7. Very well put together actually. Amazing how much of a difference a little polish (and shots from completely different nights) can make to the final result.
  8. Loss of focus (several times), too fast cuts, cymbals blocking Larry's face, filmed from down to up like standing front row, disctractions from stage stuff (railings etc), blurry Bono with focussed phone displays in front, choppy zooming, shaking pan shots.....wasn't that supposed to be professional??
That looks like an average multicam, aside the fact you see fan faces (which I never want to see, I buy a U2 dvd to watch U2) and that the technical quality is the same throughout the shots, I do not see a highly professional difference to our works.

I don't like that edit. No good cut.

Like I said, one more to buy, shelf and never watch.

... you can't be serious? I get not liking the directing style but... c'mon, haha. This reads like a parody of something.

I'm with Ross, the bit of polish coming from the HBO broadcast makes a big difference.
  10. I said ASIDE from the technical fact meaning the camera quality. Multicams differ in camera quality, but the rest is the same. They have 2 nights from like 40 cams, and this trash comes out of it?

These cuts are too fast and really bad, cut to Adam - he instantly moves away. Zoom on Larry - cymbal instead of face. Zoom is choppy, like you shortly tip the zoom on a compact camera, 2sec of scene - half of it is out of focus. Panning to Edge - shaky and immediately cut off.

Sorry, but given the technical equipment and mass of sources and angles they had, this is awful.
  11. Watching again I see a few of the things that you're talking about, but they really don't bother me that much. I'm fine with a bit of chaotic directing for this particular song and staging, but you clearly are much more in tune with all of this than I am.

    *shrug* Looks good to me.
