I hear Barenaked Ladies are also loads of fun and care-free live.

I caught a portion of their concert on TV once, and they brought a fan up so they could teach her a guitar part to the next song. As the girl came onstage they played the following bit, haha:

"You, too, can be a rock star /
You, too, can be in a band /
You, too, [U2] can be from Ireland /
So give those guys a hand /
Angel of Harlem..."

It was pretty funny. The song they played with the fan was "You Really Got Me" by the Kinks (and later, Van Halen)

Their new videoclip, "My Wena", is just released and funny as usual hehe.

I love BFS, and the new song is no exception.

I enjoy how they don't take themselves too seriously, it's a refreshing change.

They have a live album out, "Live and Very Attractive" which is well worth a listen to, you get all the banter between the crowd and band members.
