1. Nice collection there, first one I ever had was the Hammersmith Palais December 1982 show. Some of the more dedicated sellers sold a lot of their recordings on the CrO2 format sound. Some of these sounded fantastic!
  2. Couldn't you post it in one or two posts? or make picture of all in one or a few in one? this is full pages of separate cassettes...
    Anyway, nice collection

I think it is fine this way. Like a little pop-up store/gallery ....having nice things on display.

But let's just keep it to U2 cassettes only. After all this is a U2 fan-site.
  4. In 2000, when I was already working "upstairs" in one of the offices, I had an in-house copy of ATYCLB a month prior to the release.
That was like totally cool...of course, but I had to swear to my boss that I didn't take it home. So I didn't, but it was lovely to familiarize
with the album in my lunch break, or early morning status report viewings

And because of this, ATYCLB is still a two side album for me - it's just gone that way into my system

I miss getting the advance copies.

I also have some albums side A and side B because of cassettes (we never had turntable, so don't know it from vinyls)

I used to trade cassettes with a lot of fans I met through Propaganda. At least one of those would record his own Dublin gigs- not just U2. We used to swap trading lists of MCs and VHS by old-fashioned post. No amounting of downloading could match the thrill of those packages!

The internet world has robbed us of some magical moments, but also given us instant access to a treasure trove.
