1. I'm sure the hipsters will bring the cassette back as some sort of irony.

I couldn't agree more, the waiting was both excruciating on one side with a spoonful of hopeful anticipation on the other.

Once or twice a year, we'd take the train up from Galway to scour O'Connell Steet for the cassettes. It was almost a religion.

I did an AnCo course with a guy back in the 1980s and he having already lived in London for a while had amassed a nice collection of U2 bootleg cassettes. He'd tease us each week with a U2 cassette from his collection. lol
  3. As a collector myself I think this is just perfectly fine for Bishop to do this. You get to see the formats up close, different artworks and the cardboard outer packaging (if outside of the UK.

Just to let it be known to those few who find this is bothersome, I have had many people on this site ask me about my collection and what I have been posting over in the U2 collectibles section. They have welcomed my postings as a lot of them are images of promotional releases which are hard to find or have just gone through the roof in value etc, and not many get to see!

It is a good service I think that we are providing. After all it is U2 related and some of us here like to see what is out there and available.

Dude, stop playing the victim, don't flood all threads with photos, and use the Collectibles thread for all your collection. Then we won't have any problems. I am saying this in the kindest way possible.

Of course I'm saying this to you because you're the pne causing all of this unnecessary drama. You say you are going to play by the rules and then you don't.
