I have to be honest, Manchester will be my 5th and 6th U2 gigs and I'm still very much in a position where I still love hearing the warhorses, so apart from the (criminal) absence of Streets I'm certainly happy with that aspect of the set. I do strongly believe in Elevation being dropped (or a rotation at most) and I would definitely take COBL out. They also need to have more faith in their catalogue. I mean...Discotheque, SYCMIOYO and Wild Horses were SINGLES and they haven't seen the light of day in years. They underestimate the casual audience. I don't have the fondness of Acrobat that many have on here but it would be good to see simply as it's something a bit different.
Despite my gripes...there are so many songs I'll be hearing for the first time from the sound of the current rehearsal sets, and given that I love the new album I'm more than satisfied in that regard.
All we can do is wait and see how the tour develops, which I'm sure it will. Let's hope they tweak some things as the tour goes on.

It's usually the other way round sadlyThey start playing the max number of songs from the album they're promoting and then some of them start dropping off the setlists as the tour progresses.

Like the 360 show. Compare Barcelona with Moncton. Vastly different

I was looking at that the other day and I think the original JT tour was the last one to feature more from the album on closing night than opening night, I suppose after the release of Zooropa they played more from that by the end of tour as well but yeah generally the number drops. I think on this occasion going by the Setlist structure showman might not make it til the end of the tour but the rest of them I would imagine stick around.
