  1. Does anyone think we will hear The Showman and Little Things in Europe?
  2. Nope. Its U2 and the narrative is so strong now that I don’t think they will change much.
  3. Its such a shame..... The Showman fit the narrative so well from the Laval takes and it sounded great! The Little Things and The Showman alsong with Blackout and Love is Bigger are the best live new tunes for me....

    They will surely drop American Soul in Europe though..... I actually dont mind that one now. I would say of Summer of Love bit its not a real rocker like American Soul.

    Also surely they will play The Showman for Noel G

    I was actually surprised about U2 not playing The Showman after all the times they rehearsed in Laval. This definitely should be played on a show, maybe in Europe will see that. Landlady would be great to hear too.

    I think we might hear The Showman..... But I agree with Remy that Little Things might be off the cards.... Which makes me really sad one of my favs :/

    They won’t drop American Soul. Just the flag. See the shows in Canada. Mark my words, its U2
  7. I'm hoping they do. While I appreciate that this song speaks to a section of the US audience, I'm not sure this 'America is a dream that belongs to the world' line has much resonance over here. It's not like we're lined up at Cobh trying to cross the Atlantic these days!

    It's one of the best live tunes of the night this tour though.
  9. American Soul won't be dropped for Europe. I think they have a 1 or two month break between the NA and EU Leg, hopefully they'll work on Landlady and Summer of Love then.

    This is more of a wish a than a prediction, but if they're copying stuff from the 2015 tour, then I would love to see the Zooropa/Streets segue again (I know they wont do it). They could do it as the first song of the encore:

    Zooropa/Streets
    One
    Love is bigger

    Elevation and Vertigo worked beautifully at all my shows this tour. They always get the crowd jumping. Were you at one where they didn't work?

    I'd love to hear Mofo and Discotheque, but if they replaced Elevation and Vertigo, without a doubt that would make the show worse.
  11. If they dropped it, they'd have to change the entire SATS/Pride/GOOYOW/AS/COBL sequence.

    That would be a pretty massive change and it would feel like an entirely different show without that sequence in there.

    You're obviously not serious, but yeah, there's 0% chance they'd do Women of the World into Zooropa and Streets instead of into One. You realize they dropped Wild Horses because it didn't fit after Women of the World, right?

    And everyone on this board realizes that they dropped WGRYWH instead of dropping the Women of the World intermission music right?

    When they figured that the two didn't fit together, they decided to keep the pre-recorded non-U2 music instead of playing WGRYWH.
