I agree, but this whole cycle is an absolute anomaly for U2. Their age and the pretty much back to back to back tours is reason are why they are talking about taking a longer break than usual. That doesn't fit the template of doing two tours in a row in a few years to me.
  2. See your point of view. I do. What you state is solid. But the spectacle of ZOO TV again? Really not at all convinced they'd do that. They need time to reflect their current achievements and move toward the future, and this will take some time given what Bono's health has been. He'd do well to reflect on that inconvenience known as his body. Take time away from both band and the politics and concentrate on being a man who can make things happen but not so much if he's dead.
Maybe we will see U2 return in a few years time. I hope they do. I hope that we may see a Songs Of trilogy with Songs Of Ascent. Moving upward and forward.

I’ll concede that it doesn’t go along with what is in fact also my way of thinking that the band are going to be winding down in general in the future but i could see AB30 being there way back in. By that point they’ll probably be keen on playing live again, I think it would be smaller scale than JT17 in terms of number of shows , probably even shorter than JT17 before they added the new dates maybe 10 US shows and 10 European shows, a 2 month tour or something like that then the bigger (but probably still reduced compared to E&I) new album tour coming in 2022. I don’t think these tours would be small because of each other but just because of where the band were at anyway being in there early 60’s. I think if they wanted to play say 30-40 dates in 2022 they would do regardless of whether AB30 happened or not. (I know I’m just making up years and figures but just estimates).
  4. One thing that you have to keep in mind in favor of the idea of AB30 is that the whole band truly seems to love the songs on that album. Just look at all the effort they seem to have put into finding a good way to include WGRYWH this year.

I'll admit that I want it to happen, but I certainly wouldn't bet money on it happening.

But could you imagine a stadium show with a stage/screen that combined the 360 Claw with the I/E screen? A full 360 screen with the band playing inside, and you have no idea where they are until it lifts up to reveal them either right next to you or clear on the other side of the stadium.

And considering that we seem to be living in the era of misinformation, I can't imagine the idea of ZooTv being any more relevant than it could be right now. I'd love to see a giant screen full of lies and fakeouts. All sorts of fake images of the band with only one of them being real.

If they want to do, it really could work.

I'm not saying they would try to duplicate Zoo TV. They would probably have one big screen and a "few" Zoo TV props if they did it. I'm saying that if they wanted to do an AB 30 anniversary tour the reason they would not do it is not because of Zoo TV. They could work around that if they wanted (IE as I mentioned). It is a moot point anyway to me as I do not think it will happen.
  6. I didn’t get to Zoo TV in person, therefore I really hope there is one. A lot of people say that wouldn’t want it because they’ve already seen it I understand. Would really love to see it happen again although I’m doubtful.
  7. Guys I need some help

I found someone who's willing to sell his Red Zone ticket for the forthcoming show in Milan
I asked him about the ticket and that's what he quoted

"The Red zone ticket is an email that TicketOne Sand two day before the show. With this mail and with my passaport's copy You have to go in the evening and Just in that time You have the real ticket"

do you know if this is true?

Yeah you get like an email with access information if I'm not mistaken. It's tricky though as it requires an ID to pick-up. And here in Netherlands the promoter told people they could not have someone else pick it up.

However, if you have a copy of ID, a copy of the booking and email and maybe a letter for the handover if necessary that should work in almost all cases. It did in the past I know

When I have had red zone in the past I have had to take my booking email and credit card to the show and ID then collect on the day of the show. Hope that helps
