  4. I confess that I didn't had the nerve to say "it's only a game..."

    I rooted for England. I loved their free kicks and corners. So smart. But I can also enjoy the spirit of the Croatians.

    I always like it when a new team wins a tournament. It get annoying when the big ones always take the cup home

  10. Happy to play the final against Croatia, England it's always difficult to play them (it's like the "crunch" in rugby).
    By the way England has made a good tournament, they have to build their future on this like we did after 2014.
  11. To be clear: this thread is to discuss the current World Cup football.

    But just as football is also some sort of contact sport, I think it is also fair that there is some lenience towards roughness and rudeness.
    But there is also a limit. House rules in fact states that:

    * Whilst debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or aggressive posts.
    Perhaps the balance has gone too much "off" in this topic and the line of rudeness and insulting posts has been crossed without proper
    moderator interference. I am sorry if people have felt insulted or treated aggressively here in the past days and weeks.

    Last night some people have been personally addressed, and for the rest I think that the basic rules on u2start are clear to everyone.

    I hope that for the remaining part of the tournament we can all feel welcome here and have some good fun, regardless of the team we are supporting.
