Tour: Experience and Innocence tour
Songs played: 25
Audio recordings: 2
Videos: 1
  1. Such a sad and strange night. It started out so good, emotional from the start with Zooropa/ Love is all we have left intro and WW2 images and message of need for unity in diversity. Timely and fitting for Europe/ Berlin.

I noticed Bono during I will follow drink quite a lot of water. So maybe he felt something coming? During RFD waving to backstage crew: “I need something [for the throat].” Then it came quickly but he didn’t take the stuff (whatever it was) right away.

sad for the fans, especially those who have traveled only to see the show

I'd like to speak to him today and ask him, 'Is it getting better or do you feel the same?'
  3. Can't believe edge didn't come out and run through a few songs acoustic for the crowd
  4. Oh that’s a bit of a shocker. Feel bad for him having watched the video.
  5. Why does he have to?

They will still play this show at a later date and if Bono has to take some time off, they will be back at some point.

And if not, fans get their money back. It's a win win for everyone,
  6. I think the American's got a much better show/setlist than what we are seeing in Europe right now.

Prefere the Love is all we have left intro, to this Zoo TV with Chaplin speech. Couldn't give a toss about that speech, rather hear Bono singing...Find the intro rather boring now. It's not Zoo TV, keep it current, to the theme of the story of U2. Now it's a political overcharge to me.

And not changing the setlist for back to back shows?

Desire was much better than Real Thing. Bring back Gloria. Dropping American Soul which is a belter of a song. Yeah they are playing in Europe now...so what? Still play it! Drop Elevation/Vertigo/One or anything else sounding over played.

The American's got a much better show and setlist. Hope U2 change it as they go along.

    Win-Win??? Don't think so...
  8. Disagree here. Even better was great, and the new intro is perfect for Europe, imho. On the first night I did not know what to make of it, but on the second night I was kinda overwhelmed by it.
  9. I'm curious about the new version of EBTTRT

No you're wrong the show works much better now the new intro is fantastic, NYD getting added instead of American soul I think 95%of the audience would rather that but I do think they will shake it up a bit more on this leg as they are playing 4 night's in a few cities if of course it does continue, I get the feeling it was more than just a sore throat that Bono got in Berlin because he would have struggled through it rather than finishing the gig early, during the Popmart gig in Sarajevo he soldiered on even though his voice went early on but who knows until we get a proper statement from the band.
