You nailed it in your first sentence... it's not a U2 thing to do.

  2. Is the world that bad that trolls are even coming to fan sites? Seriously, moderators, can’t you do something about this?
  3. Just got back from Berlin. Going through my videos on the train I was like "Wow, the Friday show was in fact really great." Right now the memory from Saturday is way stronger unfortunately. Let's see how will things unfold.
  4. I thought we'd have a statement by now..
  5. It takes some time to organize these things. For instance to see if the show can be replaced at all, if not its full refunds for everyone regardless. I’m sure they want a complete statement with as many details as possible which management, authorities etc. need to look at.

  6. What does he say at the very end? Did he start counting for the next song?

    yeah, I guess
they should be ready by tomorrow though, as people will be concerned about the Cologne shows..
  8. You can tell it really hurts for him to sing every note during Beautiful Day and it hurts him even more that he can't go on. Shame.
  9. I think it was all meant ironically...
  10. U2 is the sum of 4 parts. I could never have imagined they would have continued last night without Bono! I’ll never forget the look of fear/displeasure on Larry’s face at the Time Square show (with Chris and Bruce).

Yeap, I personally wouldn't mind at all if they handeled the situation like in Sarajevo in 97, I am sure it would make a very special atmosphere. But Bono was 20 younger and I can imagine it would make some people angry if Bono would not deliver, though maybe not really, judging from the reaction of the crowd yesterday and the peacefull end, I am sure we would all carry Bono through the show. But maybe he was in even worse condition than in Sarajevo. Maybe he can not go through such a risky thing due to the insurance, who knows...
