You would have thought that was the case but the amount of complaints about the rumours regarding this tour would suggest otherwise.
  2. I know where I’ve heard it first..returning to my desk after being away „over night“ in Berlin on Nov 13.. being frustrated, or let’s say sad.. (I still had the „we‘re going away now“ in my mind), and opening u2start.com.. and guess what appeared on my screen (just look at the first picture and the text right below that picture)

We've gone beyond complaints to actually receiving profanity filled threats. What a fun day.

I remember that and couldn't believe it! Now, we're almost there!
  5. I remember how excited I was back in January when the Auckland dates were first shared with me. The Australian and New Zealand fans have waited a long time. And to see them continuing to visit new markets excites me. I think the shows in Singapore and Tokyo, if they are ever announced, will be off the wall.
  6. That’s unacceptable, anyone making threats needs to grow up. For a tour announcement to be causing so much negative fuss is ridiculous.

not sure about that. Some just didn't (want to) believe them. Some had problems with the certainty they were brought. Some just pointed out some contradictions and reasons they believed it was not going to happen. Appartently that's not appreciated when others claim to have inside information... I think both sides should be more open to different opinins or believes. Even when you know something for sure, you must just accept that's not enough for everyone. Especially when, like in this case, it contradicts with some other facts.
  8. It will be a great tour!

    Just announce it already
  9. Was at Tegal airport morning after the night before, waiting for the flight back to London. Remember it certainly cheered me up a bit.

If its that upsetting then look away. You know what we're going to be posting. We've been doing it for far too long at this point.

And to be clear, I have no issues with those that want to discuss it, express their disbelief, and even those who might want to stop following us over it. Happy to discuss it. Have been all along. And we're right there reminding people that things do change, that this isn't written in stone, and it's healthy to have some disbelief and not book yourself a month long vacation to Australia...unless you actually want to see Australia if the tour doesn't materialize.
