    Have fun.
  5. They would have done it before now. If it were a single show in a city then yes, it would be canned.
They will still make money from the show due to the first show happening, it will just look rather underwhelming.

I've listened to a lot of those early bootlegs, and it didn't get better until they were pretty much done with the first US leg. But it wasn't just the new songs. I was listening to the Columbus show I attended, and they actually fucked up "I will follow" so bad that they had to stop and restart the song. You'd think they could play that song in their sleep. I've also heard versions from that era of Pride and ISHFWILF that they legitimately screwed up, and again, they had played those 2 hundreds of times. Things probably seemed bleak then... album wasn't performing well, the shows were poor selling, AND they weren't playing well either.

Can not disagree more. Yes, there were shaky song versions. Lyric flubs. Restarts. In my eyes and ears - as you I’ve attended some of the first lieg shows in 1997 - thanx God, they were not on a teleprompter autopilote back then. They simply tried things out. They were not satisfied, wanted more. In Vegas, that in my opinion, was a way better gig than a lot of people try to claim today, there were strong versions of many songs. Even unique versions, like God Will Srnd His Angels or If You That Velvet Dress. In San Diego I witnessed a really strong show, take and watch Last Night On Earth with the two guitars hammering it out. U2 at its best. Well, the obvious struggle with Staring At The Sun in an electric version? For me much more funny than sad. Really sad and bad: The opening 360 night in Barcelona and the band‘s struggle with each other and One... keep my finger‘s crossed that the courageous live band will return one day (Auckland?) again like I love them - not the completlely sonically choreographed and playbacked Version of U2 („Summer Of Love“ in 2018, just terrible), but with TJT 2019 I‘d bet for the latter...
  7. According to someone in our social networks, Bono is currently in....... Tahiti
  8. Should we expect drastic price reductions in the next day or two?
  9. There will probably be bigger reductions on resale sites than on ticketmaster. £22 on viagogo and just over £30 on stubhub at the moment doubt ticketmaster will compete with that.
  10. Looks like GA has at least sold out or is close to full
