There's bleeding red (that's all cool, just different ways of seeing how a common goal should be achieved) and there's propagating bullshit propaganda about the other side wanting people to die just to get one over on you, which is what your source is saying. Difference is great, I think we've all heard Bono bang on about compromise enough, but come onnnn - there's a line where it's just clearly bollocks

Excuse my language, it's just so infuriating seeing these attitudes having family working in the healthcare sector here in the UK and knowing what they see and how they have to deal with it because people refuse to isolate

I guess it's just a sad reflection of global politics now solely being about getting one over on the other side rather than coming together in times like these

    Agreed
  7. Things will get back to normal eventually. Just not this year. 2020 is a write off!
  8. „ “Maybe not forever, but for a long time, there's not going to be GA (standing room) shows. I don't know if we'll ever see them again. Shows will belong in theaters big and small.“

I hope things will get back to normal rather sooner than later, but I fear it won’t.
Most of the people are very scared about that virus that they do not want to get back to normal soon. We have surveys here in Germany, and if they’re asked if they think it’s the right time already for the lockdown ease we are having now, 70 or 80% say it’s too early
  9. Here in NL the government already said that mass events/gatherings are out of the question until there is a vaccine. Which as anyone knows is an uncertainty and can take years.

It'll take less time than usual cos everything in the entire world is going into it but the earliest serious estimates we've been given in the UK are like summer 2021.... (the US seems to have given the green light for companies to stick drugs they think might work straight into humans...
In other terrific news - the UK is going to start quarrantining *some* new arrivals for 2 weeks... starting at the end of this month
