    At least there were no deaths. Property can be re-built but life can't be re-built. Births are always something - which we had one just last week.

    The weather here: it was about 30-something today, then around 6 - 7pm it got to about 25 and now it's kinda muggy. Better than that 45 degrees for three days.

    They're reporting now that one guy did die during the storm, due to running a genny in an unvented room. Carbon monoxide poisoning, it's a thing.

  5. Bad news in Edinburgh... we are back to snow. It's snow then sometimes sleet which has made the ground all mushy and horrible Just as we were getting good weather too!

  9. Suddenly unexpectedly beautiful in the Chicagoland area (though I'm about 2 hours out, back at Purdue in Indiana)...rained like hell yesterday, and now we're blessed with some lightly humid high-60's temps (fahrenheit, of course haha)
