Hmm seems like almost the whole world is dealing with floods....
It began in parts of Belgium too.

Brisbane is feeling also for Brazil after the loss of 500 people which compared to us we currently are standing of 16 died and 52 people still missing.
Our prayers are with Brazil and we are being showing on our news stories from Brazil.

Iam here in Brisbane have been one of the lucky ones which was not flooded. But to see your home state what people have gone through and it is going to take along time for them to recover, it really hurts.

My thoughts and prayers are not with only my home town Brisbane and Australia but also with Brazil.

I live in a big city and we're seeing images just like the Frankfurt one in some places, but those small cities in the mountains received less rain, but they don't have the structure needed to lead with this crazy weather we're having around the world.

Finally, this is one of the worst tragedies in Brazil, and the govern doesn't know how to lead with it

They shouldn't ever built houses in the mountains. I suppose this was done because everywhere else was full up, right?

I think the Queensland floods cost them over $5 Billion, how much would this flood cost Brazil and will they be able to afford it.

That's so awful. We got off so lightly here in Brisbane compared to Brazil.

Right. People built those small cities in the mountains to enjoy the beautiful view and the lower temperatures, but with more and more people coming to those cities, they had to bulit their houses in the mountains since the valley was full. I believe that, in some cases, there's no problem in built a house in a mountain if a study of the danger and ricks is made, but that wasn't the case.

About the costs, the 4 cities are very small, so authorities are saying that 600 million Reais (almost 300 million Dollars) are gonna be enough to rebulti the biggest part of the affected areas. The floods and landslides affected small towns with less structure. Because of it, the costs are lower but the number of victims is very big.

This is already the worst natural disaster in Brazilian history, and people are debating how the government is leading with it. Of course we're talking a lot about Australian floods, since authorities are doing an excellent job over there, in our opinion.

Anyway, our thoughts are with the victims all around the world.
