1. I watched "Once" the other night. A low budget movie filmed in Dublin, it turned out to become a high-praised success on several film festivals - and now I know why
It's well worth watching, great great songs, and it touches your heart, with no big effort. Plus, much to see of Dublin, and Killiney beach up from the hill, plus the beach with Howth in the background, O'Connell Street... a love story in the every-day life of Dublin
  2. gridlock'd with tupac and tim roth.

I've never seen a movie with tupac before, so I was surprised to see that he could indeed act and well, tim roth is just damn cool, no more words needed.
the movie itself had its funny and serious moments. scary that a man with a bullet in his arm wouldn't get treated until he filled out lots of forms, just because he doesn't have an insurance.. (same goes for drug addicts who want to get into rehab), but I guess that's what the movie wants to emphasize.

  5. Longford.....interesting little movie about forgiveness.

a good movie, but not a brilliant one (also, it was too long for my taste. I don't mind 3h long movies, but then they better be awesome.. like lotr ), guess heath ledger really did play a big part in making this movie so popular (and well, he deserves the praise. he was great), but if ledger hadn't played the joker the movie'd have been average, imo.

besides ledger, gary oldman did a decent job, but christian bale, michael caine and maggie gyllenhaal? oh dear..

At least there weren't 15 endings like ROTK lol.....

How wrong you are. Ah well.........
