ha, thewlis, never seen that guy act badly

    The Island of Doctor Moreau?

  2. that movie was just plain weird... guess an actor can't get more out of that.
on the other hand though, one of his best performances was in starkey imo

  3. I assume he's not heard of it

New thriller with the bloke from Transformers/Indiana Jones. Shia La Beouf.

Thanks for getting back to me Jeremy. Sounds good. Shame I won't get to see it...

i haven't heard one good thing about Hannibal Rising, a part of me just wants to see it to see it. Se7en would be undoubtedly a better 2 hours

    Thanks Dan

Jeremy, whenever you talk about film and I sound perplexed, assume I don't know about the film because my knowledge of cinema is terrible

Did you see "Naked" by Mike Leigh? Thewlis is simply explosive in that. Performance of his (and most other actors') career. Astonishing and jaw dropping
  7. Iron Man- Robert Downey Jr. was great. I liked the movie, just not as much as the Dark Knight.

haven't got my hands on naked so far, but I've heard of its awesomeness definitely on my list!
  9. I'm obliged to watch "When Harry Met Sally" tonight for Uni. It's not my kind of film and I've not seen it before, but fingers crossed anyway...

Actually its a pretty funny movie. I saw it as an obligation many years ago and was pleasantly surprised. On the downside it is a cruel reminder of how cute Meg Ryan used be before plastic surgery ruined her.

Well, I watched it and was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't have watched it otherwise, and although I don't see myself watching it again, I'm glad I did. As for how Meg Ryan USED to look, your sentiments are bang on. She was lovely...
