Well, Hancock had been hanging around for years and was originally much, much darker. It was originally called Tonight, He Comes and Hancock's character was completely irredeemable and remained that way until the end of the film - and presumably beyond. THAT'S a film I'd have sat down and watched, but not this version. It's Night Of The Hunter tonight, I reckon...
  2. Confessions of a Dangerous Mind

good movie, no more no less!
  3. Step-Brothers.....surprisingly bad.
  4. My girlfriend and I have got free tickets to see "Milk" tonight. I'll let you know...
  5. Just picked up the dark knight on blu ray woop woop

  6. It really was bad, but I confess I laughed more than I wanted to. I wanted to hate it, but couldn't.

  7. I didn't hate it, but expected quite a bit more. Really only had a good laugh just once. (the job interview scene with Seth Rogen.)

Definitely the best scene, but that's because Seth Rogen is awesome
Last movies I watched were Zoolander and 40 Year Old Virgin both hysterical
  9. Vantage Point - for the most part, I enjoyed it (I usually like films of the genre, Air Force One and The Sentinel being a couple of examples), but it really was pushing the boundaries of believability and credibility to the limits...good thriller though, must be said, I'd definitely watch it again.
  10. Went to see "Milk" last night. Stirring stuff and if we're not careful, Sean Penn's gonna get another Oscar. What with what's currently happening with gay marriage in California and the 70s witch hunts led by the so-called 'moral majority,' I don't know how these persecutors can live with themselves. As MC Fusion once put it, "it's not who you love, but DO you love." You MUST see this film, it's quite, quite brilliant
