The first trilogy seems to be about Luke. The Phantom Menace's main character is for me Obi-Wan. In the Clone Wars it starts to be about Ani and Padme and when you watch Revenge, you get that it's whole about Darth Vader. IMHO

The original series was meant to be Luke helping Anakin retrieve redemption (by one hell of a long route lol), whilst the "first" series is how Anakin fell from grace (from what I remember reading lol...).

Essentially, the whole thing was about how Anakin was mistaken for "the chosen one", get depressed when it turned out he wasn't, gets pissed, goes on the rampage, Luke comes along, finds out its him, sorts the place out, everything's hunkydory

(My god I sound ridiculously geeky lol...but fuck it! )

(If you're able to get hold of some of the many books that are set after the films, it's even better - the "Expanded Universe", I think it's termed)

Sorry, Yuri....Revenge was the best of the most recent three, but can't even compare to the original trilogy.

I always enjoyed the second one. The third one though. . . .

Revolutions sucks ass. Majorly. I cannot bare to watch it.

Empire Strikes Back for me, but Revenge of the Sith was easily the best of the prequels
  5. Just saw "Lady in the Water" for the first time yesterday.

    M. Night Shaymalan is incredibly pretentious.

I didn't think it was THAT bad...ok, not a masterpiece lol, nor particularly enthralling, but it had some interesting ideas going around...dogs made of grass though, not really that much of a convincing concept lol...

Haha....I'm also not a fan of him putting himself in his movies as a major role. I thought it was terrible.

Ah yeah, like on Signs when he was the guy who killed Mel Gibson's wife lol...which role did he play on this film though? I can't remember - the only person I can definitely remember was Paul Giamatti or whatever his name is as the lead character...

He played the character who was writing the landmark book that would be read by someone who would go on to be the President of the United States. How pretentious is that?!? Douchebag.
