1. anyone around?

and here's a question for drew if you're still here:

What about the iPod Video? Yea it scratches up, but compared to the classic its supposedley better. One reason is the screen thing is plastic. Is this a hard drive? I think it might be so. So lets see:

14 GB iPod Touch, runnin out of space

30 GB iPod video, its a hard drive, but it works

as for the space, I'm putting a few Zoo TV shows in my vault. I think 6 is a bit much (since 3 are from the 2nd leg). I rather have 5, one from each leg.
  2. Hi Steve (I just found out that your real name Steve is)

I think maybe just the classic has the problems (and I believe it's to do with the new system and the hard drive), because the classic just cannot handle simple things like turning up volume, changing songs, creating play-lists etc without struggling. The nano uses flash memory, which has no moving parts and therefore probably isn't slow. I haven't tried out a nano myself, but I'd be interested to see if the same problems do indeed occur.

If you're not overly worried by sound or things being slow or having lots of extra colours and enhancements on your screen, then it's probably good enough. Then again, if you were a true audiophile or audio freak you wouldn't use an iPod.

OK, for those interested...been using the new nano for a few days now...nothing is slow, nothing wrong with the menus, it works smooth, lovely and nice...the sound is fine by me, I'm not an audiophile tho.

The flash memory thing is true, it's always true for the classic and nano or the old video and nano. That's why I got a nano this time as well, just knew that flash would be better, it removes lots of problems...and the split menu works like a lovely charm for me!

Yep, I hope Croatia wins, but on the other hand...if they lose the dutch team has more chance to win the EC...

Nice to hear you haven't had any problems with your nano I was almost scared for a couple of seconds that I'd just paid for crap or something like that
