    I wholeheartedly agree.

uh-oh. we're back to agreeing again!

  3. He's spent all kinds of Us tax dollars.....yay
  4. Pretty Noose by Soundgarden, sums up this presidency perfectly.
  5. Recently I read interview with one American writer who was also disappointed with Obama not because of his work, but because of keeping Bush's people (generals, etc) in army.

It's pretty early to judge but sure it's better than Bush.

I dont see any problemn with Bush's people who are in the military. When they actually are listened too, they get shit done.

The American mainstream media doesn't really speak for the whole of the country. It's (almost) completely one sided, they're a bunch of Obama lovers....although that's starting to slowly change

On that point, it came out a few weeks ago that Obama had spoken with the American commander in Afghanistan once over the phone in his entire presidency. So although he may have kept them he's certainly not utilizing them or paying attention to them

I think the fact that he's totally ignoring Don't Ask Don't Tell is terrible
That's my main problem with his military stances so far, also, come up with a plan for Afghanistan and Iraq already, Jesus...

Dont ask, dont tell, is what I'd consider a low priority. I have nothing against gays. One of my best friends is one, but there are far more important things.

I think it's an issue that could be easily and quickly dealt with, so he should just do it already.

Mostely the fact that the Air Force tends to get more applicants than they know what to do with. Also, most people I've talked too said the best thing about the Navy, was how much most of them get to travel. I'm the kind of guy, who wants to see alot of diffrent places, and America has over 100 naval bases, and ports of call around the world. The Air Force, also has a bunch of bases around the world, but it's diffrent being assigned somewhere, and only visiting it on a leave.

Good for you-wanting to see different places. It's a big wide world out there and so many things for you to see. Traveling abroad certainly gives one a different perspective. Sounds as if you'll enjoy these adventures. Good luck!
