1. Slightly random, but something I've been discussing with some people.

Should America have the FCC? Is it unconstitutional?

If one were to look at the Constitution and have an absolute perception of the First Amendment, the answer would be no. And I agree. I think people should be more responsible with what they take in instead of being fed as to what's safe and what isn't. Come on society, this country shouldn't become a police state!

    That is all.

I don't think that he's weak, just a calm person. If anything is weak, it's the democratic party.
Now, calling him a dumbass is a bit unfair, he's never really said anything idiotic.
I do agree with you on Afghanistan, it's been long enough, we need a plan, and now would be a good time for it.

Tony Blair at the head of the EU? I hope you're joking. If ever there was a sycophant in recent British history, he's a prime example - at least with Thatcher she said what she did and then damn well did it, albeit screwing the nation over in the process. Blair and 'New' Labour have done a damn good job of leading the UK down the shitter, and Brown's just taken it on from where TB left off. There are very few of the current crop of British politicians around at the moment who I'd be willing to place my trust in where our own sodding country is concerned, never mind the European Union, and that goes for Blair even if he's not in the current administration anymore. The whole thing's become a macabre joke, quite frankly.

  4. Politics = The world's newest punchline. Enjoy the surface.

...I had no idea Blair was that bad though.
  5. I think its bullshit how Australia is not being tough enough with all these boat people, send em back to their country, why should we give them homes, job training, and money when their are australians here who need the money.
they r emotionally blackmailing the government and they arent even refugees.

Whether or not hes actually weak is inconsequential. The important part is that Americas potential enemies percieve him to be weak.

Yes and no. On paper a good communist exist, in real life people misuse the ideology to get their way. Communism is not the only ideology that has this problem. That why i think its better to be realistic instead of idealistic

  10. I hope a right-winger takes the position.

Being from a post-communistic country, I can't stand when someone says communism was good in whatever way.

Yes, but they are connected with personal freedom and all kinds of rights. When the red pricks had the power, there was no freedom or rights.
