    Which sources did you use for your study? The 11th is the anniversary of the islamic revolution, there are always goverment-sponsered rallies in this day and many people come to the streets and shout slogans against the US, Israel, and this year probably Britain. On the other hand, the green movement have plans for this day as well, but I'm not sure if they'll be able to carry them out, many are scared as 2 people were executed last week and 9 more are facing execution.

    I don't know if any of that can be considered pissing off America, tho the government considers the rally as such. What else is there to piss off america with? They won't be doing anything to those prisoners, too much of a bad publicity.

    You're just not playing a fair game here. Ali709 is having a normal conversation and you're talking about USA "sticking a boot so far up your ass" to Iran. WTF? Iran didn't do any harm to USA.

    Maybe they have nukes. But, USA have nukes for sure and nobody gives a damn.

    And don't be so sure, you can't win even in Afganistan where people wear 20 years old robes and half-functional AK-47's.

  7. Yep. Aaron, I just asked an honest question, I wanted to know if there are news/rumors that I'm unaware of, it wasn't a personal attack.
    More than a bit unnecessary reaction, and I have many problems with our government, and this guy certainly is not my president, but I still don't appreciate my country being talked about like that. Your reaction convinced me tho that you had no proper source for your studies, cause it shows you don't understand how our government acts, it's as if you see us as taliban-time afghanistan., and 'yeah's comment up there comes to mind...
    Anyway, as Chris said, I'm dropping it, I just had to say the above cause your comments really hurt my feelings as an Iranian.

    Israel has murdered thousands of Palestinians recently, mostly children.

    Bono called on having Palestine find "it's MLK, it's great civil rights leaders".

  12. War is all dirty stuff, from both sides. I dont even bother to pick side in the whole Israel - Palestina thing. Has been going on for forever and I am afraid it will do as well in the future.

    I dont see how U2 performing or not performing will help. Besides Bono gave Berlusconi an earful during the Milan show last year, he might as well in Israel.

    Besides u2 dot com says the shows are unfounded rumours.
