In more than 1 way Scandinavia and Holland are communistic. But that is a scary word and everyone should wash their mouth after saying that

Not that bad that liberals won the elections here. As long the PVV stays out of the coalition it is much better than the Labour party.

Well, I'm afraid it is going to be VVD - CDA - PVV
  2. The racist and ultra-right-winged party (I don't know the name) was the 3rd most voted one, I really couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it thi morning.

Well I have to nuance that a bit. They're no real racist and ultra right-wing (like some of the press makes us think) . It's the immigration-thing that makes them right wing. They do have some socialist ideas, like in economy. And they're going to change some of their points just to make it to the government.
Of course they didn't get my vote because they're going way to far, I voted VVD (Liberals). Just becauce I think that they have the best plans to fight the financial crisis.

Next few weeks will be very interesting.

Exactly. But do we want a new 'Paars'? (purple cabinet, with VVD (blue), PVDA(red) and D66'Democrats). That would be a blow too in my opinion.
  5. Agree, coalitions suck by definiton.

Maybe VVD,PvdA, CDA. That would be more centred. Lots of differences though.

Wouldnt call PVV ultra right wing, they just want to kick out criminals with double passport by taking their Dutch nationality.

I wouldnt mind that, but he went to far by focussing too much on Islam.

Also 3rd party by some distance.

No, but F.A. Hayek is also just someone with an opinion. BTW I guess Holland would fall under 'socialistic' under your criteria. And we are not doing that bad Of course its national pride, but in many ways I believe we are doing better than most other countries on this and the other side of the ocean.

At least I'm not dependent on the government. Thats what socialism is. Complete dependence on the government.

I will never take a handout from my government. I could have gotten into collge if I wanted. You know why I didn't? I didn't want the government assistance.
