    Luckily Labour Party lost to the VVD yesterday. But this system is the reason I dont feel bad for the free transport and reasonable study pricing i get. In the end I will pay it back with 100% interest.

    Personally, I think the librytarains have a good idea. Go with the absolute minimum amount of government, with the max on freedom.
  3. VVD is not that bad indeed, but most important politicians in their past worked for the banks that caused the crisis.

    Also their former minister of finance (Gerrit Zalm) screwed the country by underestimating the Gulden comparing to the Euro. Plus he was in a high position of a bank that collapsed due to malpractice that he must have known.

    I think religion gets blamed for those things, but when you boil it down, all conflicts are about power and resources and religion is just an excuse or scapegoat.

  9. Comparing with Nazi's goes a bit far. I'm all for putting criminal imigrants accross the border. If they have a foreign passport its easy. PVV goes too far when it comes to Islam though, but maybe that is because all the threats he is under.

    Anyway, hope PVV wont make it into the coalition, too right-winged for my taste. Would take the center coalition VVD / PvdA (unfortunately) / CDA.

    I specifically said I didn't want to compare them I just pointed out that you can have socialist ideas and nevertheless be more fascist than Mussolini.

    And maybe he's under threats because of his anti-Islam ideas, and not the other way round
